Music Parents: Interested in Fewer Fundraisers? Details Here:
Interested in fewer fundraisers?
We need your creativity to help us figure out how to minimize our own fundraising while still funding our award winning programs…
Well, let me tell you, it interests us as well! This has been a great year for fundraising to support Music in Batavia, but let’s be honest; fewer fundraisers would sure be nice.
This is why we are kicking off our new Sponsorship Committee on March 25th at 7PM in the Batavia High School Band Room. This committee will help develop our plan of attack to raise money from businesses in our community and beyond. For example, many of us are employed by employers that might be interested in sponsoring music and/or the arts in the communities where their employees live.
Our kickoff meeting will be a brainstorming session about how we can leverage the connections and talents in our community to reach out to businesses. We will be developing a sponsorship program with benefits as well – so our sponsors will feel that they are getting something for their donations.
We need your help in developing and delivering this new program for the 2015-2016 school year. Are you in? If we do well, we may be able to reduce the number and frequency of our fundraisers while providing even MORE for our music students!
Please RSVP by responding via email to: firstname.lastname@example.org so we can make sure to set up enough chairs for the meeting!
